Interior Painting

A fresh coat instantly lifts a room, and the difference between an average paint job and a great one is all in the preparation. We protect your floors and furniture, fill and sand every imperfection, prime properly and apply premium washable paints for straight lines and an even, hard-wearing finish. Whether it is one bedroom, a rental refresh or a full home repaint, we bring more than 15 years of experience to every wall and ceiling, and we leave no mess behind.

What is interior painting?

Interior painting is the repainting of the surfaces inside your home: walls, ceilings, doors, skirting boards, architraves and trim. A professional job is about far more than rolling on colour. It starts with protecting your furniture and floors, then repairing and preparing every surface so the new paint bonds properly and the finish stays smooth for years.

Different rooms need different systems. Wet areas like bathrooms and laundries need mould-resistant paint, kitchens need scrubbable finishes, ceilings need flat non-reflective coatings, and busy hallways need hard-wearing washable paint. Getting the right product on the right surface is half the value a professional painter brings.

Why it's worth doing properly

A quality interior repaint is one of the cheapest ways to add value to your home and completely change how it feels.

  • Instantly lifts and modernises tired rooms
  • Protects plaster and trim from scuffs, wear and moisture
  • Fresh paint consistently returns more than it costs when selling or leasing
  • Covers stains, hairline cracks and patchy old DIY work
  • Modern low-VOC paints are better for indoor air quality

What affects the cost

Every job is quoted individually after we see it, but these are the things that move the price:

  • Room size and ceiling height
  • Condition of the walls: repairs, cracks and stains add prep time
  • Number of colours and coats
  • Whether ceilings, doors and trim are included
  • Empty rooms are faster to paint than fully furnished ones

The only way to know for sure is a free, no-obligation quote, and ours are fixed in writing.

Common questions

How long does interior painting take?+

A standard bedroom usually takes about a day including preparation and two coats. A full three-bedroom home interior is typically three to five days, depending on repairs and the amount of trim and ceiling work.

Do I need to move out while you paint?+

No. We work room by room, keep the space ventilated, use low-odour paints and tidy up at the end of every day, so you can keep living at home while we work.

What paints do you use?+

Premium trade-quality paints from the major Australian suppliers, matched to each surface. If you have a preferred brand or colour, we are happy to work with it.

Can you match my existing wall colour?+

Yes. We can colour-match from a sample of your existing paint, or help you find the closest modern equivalent if the original colour has faded over time.

Is the quote really free?+

Yes. We inspect, measure and give you a fixed written quote at no cost and with no obligation.
